The four exhibition rooms of the natural sciences section (access through the Children Park) attract a large number of visitors.
The first room displays an introduction to space exploration: photo collages representing galaxies, super galaxies and our solar system, models of rockets and space ships.
The central part of the exhibition is occupied by the mineralogical and ecological collections. The exposed samples illustrate the types of characteristic minerals of west and north-west Romania. The specific fauna and flora of the county are presented through a diorama picturing the characteristic ecosystems of the Arad region: plain (slop, veldt), hill and mountain, completed with a reconstruction of a cave ecosystem.
The most significant pieces of the palaeontological collection, most of them of local provenience, are exposed next to rich complementary material with the role of creating a comprehensive image of the evolution of life on Earth.
